Currently on the hunt for a Senior Land Surveyor to join a high performing and dynamic earthworks contractor to work on some of the most significant earthworks projects the Auckland region has to offer.

The right candidate should have significant experience in New Zealand working on large civil projects, should be able to work without sponsorship and should have a bachelor’s degree in surveying or equivalent.

Day to day tasks will include but are not limited to:

• All aspects of surveying including using GPS, Total Station and other surveying instruments/ equipment.
• Producing plans including topographical, cut / fill, as-builts and plans to support claims / variations.
• Assisting site personal with general site needs, including set outs, heights and survey control.
• Assisting quantity surveyors / estimators / management with estimating, variations and payment claims.
• Ensuring survey equipment is maintained, calibrated and kept in good working order.

The right candidate will have:

• A bachelor’s degree in surveying or an equal qualification.
• Roughly 5 to 10 years Surveying experience in New Zealand.
• Strong knowledge of either AutoCAD, 12D or Civil3D
• Currently hold a valid NZ work visa.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work on own accord or as part of a team.

In return for your hard work and dedication you will be rewarded with a competitive remuneration package, between $100-110k p.a + vehicle, dependent on your experience and expertise.
