Franklin Smith has the opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join a tier 1 commercial contractor on the forefront of some of the most significant projects Auckland has to offer, they have multiple projects across the city ranging from boutique interior fit-outs to large scale build and are renowned for their commitment to quality and creating a healthy team culture!

Responsibilities:
Managing the commercial element of a number of high profile medium sized Auckland city construction projects. The Senior Quantity Surveyor will be based both on site and from head office and responsible for the profitable delivery of the project. The Senior QS will be directly involved with the following functions:
- Cost Planning
- Procurement & tender evaluation
- Negotiation & preparation of contract documents
- Valuations
- Cost reporting
- Final accounts
- Contract administration
- Management of Quantity Surveying/Procurement Process.
Requirements
- 4 + years’ experience within Quantity Surveying, preferably with a main contractor
- Ideally experience in managing the commercial function of large commercial projects.
