Help Desk - Customer Service Center - Lackland AFB, TX
•Maintenance and installation of workstations, printers, fax machines, communication devices, hand-held devices, scanners, CD/DVD Read Writers and other peripherals
•Determine proper configuration of systems as to software and hardware composition and setup
•Complete shift reports and/or hourly entries when required
•Complete details pertaining to any outages, times, who was notified, course of action - all with enough detailed information to reconstruct the issue for future resolutions
•Ensure files (when not damaged) from any government desktop, peripheral or component moved or installed into service are transferred to the replacement computer
•Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve all operational and software problems associated with network and standalone printers
•Complete service requests associated with the desktop
•Enter, update and complete assignment information on all trouble calls into the Enterprise Management/Tracking System (EMTS) system for workload tracking
•Thoroughly document all work performed in the appropriate designated EMTS Software
•Answer and triage customer assistance requests on information technology and communications issues
•Enter, modify and delete customer accounts on various computer systems, instruct on proper way to complete account requests, and inform customers of current Information Assurance requirements
•Manage Laptop Loaner Program- Check out and check in various Systems equipment in support of Medical Systems "One Stop Shopping." Maintain all required logs and forms
•Receive on-call schedules from various departments and file
•Serve as first response on servers, network, phone, nurse call and IT issues

•Bachelor's degree in computer science or other related subjects
•Shall have three (3) years of experience within the last five (5) years to include one (1) year of specialized experience related to the task
•Skills and knowledge to work with the latest office automation software and network operating systems, i.e., Windows (all versions), Windows SharePoint, Office (all versions)
•Shall have and maintain a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Physical Requirement
•All Personnel shall control and prevent disease in accordance with AFI 48-105 Surveillance Prevention and Control of Diseases and Conditions of Public Health or Military Significance, and the American Public Health Association Publication, Control of Communicable Diseases Manual, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) publication, Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report, Air Force Policy (as applicable) and its supplements
oProvide proof of immunization or immunity from or screening for the following diseases according to Air Force guidelines equivalent to that provided to active duty armed forces: Hepatitis B, MMR (Measles, Mumps, and Rubella), Varicella, Tdap (Tetanus, Diphtheria, and Pertussis), Tuberculosis (TB), HIV (Contractor Personnel who have direct patient care) and influenza for all personnel prior to contract performance
oIf an individual has a past positive TB skin test, the Contractor shall provide proof of a negative chest X-ray within twelve (12) months
