Commercial Sales Representative - San Antonio, TX
Location: San Antonio, TX

Decypher is seeking an experienced, results-driven sales professional to further our development initiatives in the commercial IT marketplace. The right candidate will utilize their communication and networking skills to interact with current and potential customers to expand our customer base.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate new revenue streams through the development of new business, product reach and service innovations; provide outstanding customer service to existing client base
  • Ability to understand features and business benefits of software or hardware products; exhibit desire and ability to learn new technologies
  • Sell multi-vendor technology solutions and products through cold calling, coupled with suggestive and inquiry selling
  • Develop and execute agile sales plans, strategic strategies, and professional presentations designed to enhance revenue growth and meet and/or succeed customer needs
  • Demonstrate ability to conduct extensive exploration and provide proactive comprehension in the areas of economic trending, government policy changes, market
  • fluctuations and competitor research; identify and develop new markets and prospects
  • Attend workshops, trade shows, and seminars to keep up-to-date on changes in the industry; develop networks, contacts and alliances to drive business
  • Develop and maintain robust pipeline that ensures on target production is consistently met



Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years business to business (B2B) sales experience preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in Information Technology and/or IT staffing desirable
  • Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Accounting, Economics, Information Technology/Systems or Business Administration, or related fields desired; though, not required
  • A strong desire to develop a diverse book of business
  • Organized, with a keen sense of urgency and strong time management skills
  • Effective negotiation skills; ability to leverage technology experience(s) to manage and grow business
  • Professional in appearance; excellent communication and presentation skills including written, verbal, and electronic
  • Ability to work effectively in teams, both within department and cross-functionally
  • Demonstrated adherence to high standards of integrity and ethics
  • Demonstrated self-motivation as well as ability to take direction; accountability
  • Local Regional travel is a requirement of this position; US Domestic travel a possibility
