 eCommerce Business Analyst
Location: London, England
Salary: GBP350 - GBP380 per day
eCommerce Business Analyst required for a retail company.
Ideally the candidate will have some experience of fashion/clothing retail.
E-commerce Business Analyst with retail experience Or Business Analyst with strong ecommerce retail sector experience is required for this 3 month contract role. Role is to help with the definition and documentation of business process and technical requirements for some planned e-commerce initiatives. Great opportunity to work with one of the most recognized brands in the world.
There are currently 2 initiatives they need the business analyst to help with, both at differing stages.
We are looking for a Business Analyst with strong ecommerce and web online retail experience ideally with similar experience of one or more of these ecommerce initiatives
1: Implement the capability to offer goods on the website
2: Make a range of additional / enhanced and more flexible delivery options available to web customers so that hey can choose where and when their goods will be delivered.
The required role is to work with business stakeholders and IT colleagues to help flesh out the process and system changes that will be required to deliver these initiatives.
- We are looking for a Business Analyst with strong ecommerce and web retail experience, ideally with similar experience of one or more of the ecommerce initiatives listed such as "Drop Ship" and Enhanced Flexible Delivery.
- Understanding the dynamics of retail and particularly ecommerce is essential
- Experience of e-commerce Payment and fulfilment systems advantageous
- Experience of working within a large multi
- dimensional corporate environment

- Experience of working with IBM WebSphere Commerce and/or DemandWare platforms
advantageous
- Experience in influencing strategic technical systems direction advantageous
Other notes
BA with ecommerce and retail
Classic documenting requirements, running workshops, understanding why they need the change, the process changes and system changes,
the knock on effects, fact finding. There are a lot of moving parts and interconnecting systems. Will require digging into. Prefer someone not too fixed in there ways, good people skills are essential, there are a lot of busy people to extract information from. Solutions will involve integration, small bits of software development, ad on systems internal and external.
