The role will be central to many areas of the business and you will be the key person that ensure the right data is in front of the right people. This is an initial 6-9 month contract position, as a fixed term.
Summary of the Role
- Manage the flow of data around the business
- Be the go to prson for the companies DMP
- Work with other areas of the business to ensure they have the right data to make more informed decisions
- Look in to ways to better utilise data
- Look for exciting opportunities within the data
- Work closely with marketing on campaigns
- Help to create a robust reporting environment
- Ensure data quality
- Be the point of contact for the data warehouse
- Look at other data sources that can be ingested
What you can do
- A nice mix of skills in the likes of Teradata, Oracle and SQL
- Experience with DMP's would be highly regarded
- Some nice to have tools include SSIS, VBA, Tableau, Informatica
- Communication skills are more important than tools - you will need to be able to prove that you can be the champion of data in the business
- Proven experience working with non-technical teams
- Strong influencing skills, especially within marketing
- Strong coder
- Knowledge of injesting new data sources and looking for data opportunities
