Customer Integration Engineer – London – Minimum of 3 - 6 Months – Market Rate Pay
My client operates one of the leading electronic trading platforms for a variety of fixed income securities and derivatives in the US and European markets. They are seeking to augment the Client Integration (CI) group who are responsible for working with IT personnel and require a Customer Integration Engineer in order to do this.
About the Customer Integration Engineer Role:
As part of the Customer Integration Engineer Role, the successful candidate will be required to help new and existing institutional clients and broker-dealers with the implementation and integration of the APIs provided by the client for various STP features.
The candidate will also support API integration for various fixed income products as well as work with business analysts, quality assurance teams and developers to design and implement features whilst taking client requirements and needs into account.
You will be required to build and foster relationships with dealer and client IT teams, and occasionally build tools and test harnesses to support this ongoing integration with my client’s IT system.
- A minimum of 4 years’ experience in a development, trade support or business analyst role
- FIX protocol experience is very important
- Experience with XML (DTD, schemas), TCP/IP and networking fundamentals
- Impressive working knowledge of Unix/Linux operating system including user commands, scripting etc.
- RDBMS skills (SQL Server and/or Oracle) – ability to read, write and run SQL scripts
- Experience and thought leadership in certification
- SOAP experience
This is a 3 to 6 month contract minimum
