Underwriting Analyst (PCK333-231418) New York County, New York

• Assist underwriters in managing deal pipeline including managing and maintaining electronic underwriting files, producing term sheets and deal documents, coordinating diligence process and preparing insurance policies for issuance

• Support group marketing efforts by helping to maintain marketing databases, follow up on new business opportunities and prepare marketing materials

• Provide word processing support to underwriters and M&A legal including policy drafting assistance, form maintenance and completion of confidentiality and non-reliance agreements

• Provide general M&A organizational support to help streamline and improve business process

• Basic computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Windows XP, Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat Professional

• Detailed oriented and ability to adhere to strict compliance rules

• Highly skilled at organizing electronic documents, works well under tight deadlines

• Initiative and self-motivation

• Superior written and interpersonal communication skills

• Ability to work with others in collaboration

• Interest in mergers and acquisitions and/or corporate law

• Bachelors degree in a related subject (accounting or finance degree preferred but not required)

• One to three years of work experience preferred but not required
