IT Category Specialist – FTSE 100 - Global Procurement – Transformation Project – Up to $85,000 + Bonus + Package

Following an ambitious restructure of the Procurement and Outsourcing Function, this $Multi-Billion business is looking for a talented Procurement professional to join their Global IT Procurement team. Working alongside Executive-level managers, the successful candidate will be developing pioneering Procurement strategies across IT Services, Software, Hardware and Outsourcing, and helping to shape the new Global Procurement Function.

IT Category Specialist Role Overview:

• Designing and implementing innovative procurement strategies to deliver outstanding cost savings and best value across global business functions in the IT Category
• Actively engaging with Senior Internal and External Stakeholders to proactively identify key areas of growth and opportunity, and drive the Procurement IT Category internationally
• Managing critical Global suppliers whilst looking to the market for competitive alternative offerings, ensuring the business is always commercially successful and delivering robust contracts which mitigate any capacity of risk for the business
• Liaising directly with the Head of Procurement and Senior Global Managers to develop multi-category Procurement best practices

Requirements for IT Category Specialist:

• Exceptional experience managing the Procurement process within the IT Category, including the tendering process, contract drafting and supplier management
• A CV demonstrating outstanding savings achieved through transformational Procurement strategies, driving change throughout an IT Procurement Category including across Software and IT Services
• Outstanding Stakeholder Relationship Management skills; practiced in influencing Internal and External Stakeholders to gain commitment where necessary
• Excellent academics; degree (or equivalent required), additional qualifications preferred
• The right to live and work in the USA is required
