Salary: EUR100000 - EUR120000 per annum + Competitive Package

Indirect Procurement Category Manager – FTSE 50 Global Procurement – Incredible Transformation and Change – Global Texas Offices – $100,000 - $120,000 + Competitive Package

This leading FTSE 50 is undergoing an incredible Transformation Programme in their Procurement Function, developing Global Procurement capabilities from their Texas base and fast becoming a CoE (Centre of Excellence) for best practice procurement

As a result, they are seeking an ambitious and talented Category Manager to join their growing team, taking ownership of $Multi-Million spends and working closely with the Senior Category Managers to be part of this incredible journey. A particular focus for the business is within the Indirect categories, particularly professional services and finance.

As part of your role, you will be:

  • Developing category strategies to effectively manage $Multi-Million spends across your category specialism, working closely with Senior Category Managers to ensure synergy within the wider categories
  • Managing cradle to grave procurement and strategic sourcing, including contract and supplier management
  • Leading high profile procurement projects across the business, working closely with Global counterparts to help develop the transformation of the function
  • Receiving tailored mentorship and development plans to progress swiftly to senior positions, with the opportunity for Global roles dependant on preferences

Requirements for this role:

  • Excellent procurement and category management experience within your early career to date, with a CV that demonstrates significant cost savings achieved alongside value added to the business within the Indirect categories
  • Experience and success in supplier management, able to effectively build strategic relationships with global suppliers
  • Rapid progression from Buyer to Senior Buyer to Manager, preferably within a blue chip environment
  • Desire to succeed and ambition to progress rapidly whilst learning from senior managers
  • Degree (or equivalent) is preferred but not essential
  • You must have the existing right to live and work in the USA
