This is a hugely exciting role to join a global luxury shopping business, where you'll be managing and developing your own merchant portfolio, focusing on customer service and account development across their products and services.

The ideal person will have 1 - 2 years' account management experience within the retail, FMCG or financial services industry, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with up to 80 national accounts.

What you'll be doing:

  • Providing a high level relationship management service (Around 70% of your role will be field based)
  • Working towards sales targets and cross selling GB products to existing accounts
  • Account planning and delivery for all accounts 
  • Educating merchants with services, helping with training in-store and support
  • Delivering account specific contractual obligations

What you'll need:

  • 1 - 2 years' strong account management experience within the retail, FMCG or financial services industry
  • You must be happy to travel (nationally)
  • Strong interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
  • The ability to grasp customers' current and potential needs
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills
  • Genuine hunger for success
  • Organisational skills with the ability to work independently
