As a Systems Administrator you'll be responsible for planning, coordinating and managing installs and the automation of the install of both commercial and in-house software. This work will require that you be particularly well-versed in XML and PowerShell, as these are the new tools for which we need your expertise.

To be a good fit for the XML/PowerShell Systems Administrator opportunity you will have:
  • Expertise with command line scripting (VBScript, Powershell, Batch Files, JavaScript, Shell, or PERL)
  • Advanced programming knowledge (XML, XPath, RegEx, SOAP, REST, JMX, SSH, etc)
  • A working knowledge of Operating Systems (Windows 2003, 2008) and Operating Systems Administration (Powershell, VBScripting, WMI, Registry Manipulation, AD, LDAP, NTFS, etc)
  • A working knowledge of Database Platforms (MSSQL 2005, 2008, 2012) and Database Scripts (SQL)
  • A working knowledge of Server Applications (IIS, Sharepoint, Biztalk, JBOSS)
  • The ability to install and configure various operating systems, databases, and applications, particularly MS Windows, MS SQL, and supporting utilities
  • Though not required, familiarity with any of the following would be a plus: Nolio, MS Project, TCP/IP, Routers, Checkpoint firewalls, Storage Area Networks, network protocols such as DNS, DHCP, NTP, SSH, SSL, LDAP, and Kerberos
