Decypher currently seeks a talented Training Lead Instructor to plan, coordinate, and supervise training, cross training, and evaluation requirements for units and contractor staff in accordance with the priorities established by the Training Division Supervisor.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitors subordinate performance and perform counseling of subordinates as necessary
  • Assists the Training Supervisor in developing, updating and production of programs of instruction, lesson plans and training support packages
  • Assists with the development of physical layout of all training areas
  • Ensures all safety and environmental considerations are implemented and adhered to
  • Tests, evaluates, and ensures that contractor personnel are trained and certified on all military equipment, as appropriate
  • Supervises, evaluates performance of, and provides technical guidance to subordinates who conduct training
  • Plans, coordinates, and supervises training, cross training, and evaluation requirements for units and contractor staff in accordance with the priorities established by the Clinical Coordinator/Training Supervisor
  • Monitors subordinates performance and perform counseling of subordinates as necessary
  • Assists in the development of personnel, supply and material requirements for training of units and personnel
  • Operates, disassembles, and maintains site equipment at the operator level
  • Completes appropriate forms to train on and maintain related equipment
  • Provides instruction, both on and off site, on operation, assembly, disassembly and maintenance of DEPMEDS, MC4 and associated items and systems
  • Evaluates units on their ability to operate and train on this equipment
  • Assists the Clinical Coordinator/Training Supervisor in the development, update, and production of programs of instruction, lesson plans and training support packages
  • Collects data and information for the publication of programs of instruction and lesson plans
  • Prepares video, audiovisual and automated presentations to support lesson plans
  • Operates personal computers for storing, modifying, and transmitting training related information and materials
  • Prepares technical data and reports on all phases of training; including the tracking and reporting of expenditures
  • Maintains training data via electronic and automated methods for input to contractor and government staffs
  • Develops training schedules for training conducted on and off site
  • Develop personnel, training and materiel requirements for training of new and existing DEPMEDS, Intensive and Intermediate Health Care systems
  • Develop training and material requirements to support warrior task training, Battle command and staff training, Combat Life Saver training, and MOS/AOC sustainment training
  • Maintains administrative training files and library
  • Assures regulations, publications, and forms are current
  • Provides Visitor's Folder for all courses taught in a classroom environment
  • Provides and collects Sign-in Roster for all classes taught
  • Provides and collects student critiques for all classes taught
  • Ensures all classes taught have training schedules and lesson plans
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the Training Supervisor


Qualifications:

  • Must have significant experience with Army Training Program and be familiar with all contained requirements
  • Recent experience with the U. S. Military as an officer or noncommissioned officer with a Health Care Specialist AOC/MOS
  • Must be instructor qualified through Army Instructor Basic Course (AIBC) *may be completed post-hire
  • Must have a current drivers license and be able to obtain a military license
  • Must have significant DEPMEDS experience
