Pega Developer Summary:

Signature Consultants is seeking a Pega Developer for an opportunity in Plano, TX. The Pega Developer will develop, enhance, debug, support, maintain and test software applications that support business units or supporting functions. These application program solutions may involve diverse development platforms, software, hardware, technologies and tools. He or she will participate in the design, development and implementation of complex applications, often using new technologies. This position is responsible for Workflow development and BPM - Tools Integration using Workflow Mgmt, Pega, SOAP, REST and Hadoop.

Responsibilities:

• Work with the Business Analysts to understand the enhancements / changes being propagated in a particular release cycle, design and work on the coding & unit testing tasks
• Communicate with business and technical partners and come up with solutions
• Be a key contributor to initiatives that require technical expertise
• Provide innovative solutions to problems and drive the design/development of components
• Effectively deal with multiple deadline-driven tasks and customers
• Be a good team player
• Flexibility in adapting to team requirements

Requirements:

• 4-7 years of experience in building and implementing model-driven, enterprise-level business solutions using PegaSystems PRPC tool.
• Pega CSSA certified or Pega CLSA certified
• Hands on Experience in Designing and Implementing Enterprise Class Rules, PRPC Flows, Activities, Repots and Correspondence, PRPC Case Management and various PRPC Integrations
• Experienced in integration with Hadoop, Autosys, RESTful services, and Middleware technologies.
• Exposure to a variety of technologies, including, but not limited to Java/J2EE, REST, Oracle, SQL Server.
• Demonstrated knowledge of and applicability of Object-Oriented techniques and principles.
• Experience in Agile Scrum methodology
