Logistics Coordinator (64TL) Burlington, Canada

 

Summary

Direct responsibility for the logistical processing of customer orders.  Direct liaison with internal and external customers, vendors, customer service representatives and any other persons who require information from logistics. Arranges for shipment of requested items, goods or merchandise. Creates all necessary documents for outgoing shipments including paperwork required for export.

Prime Responsibilities

  • Confirmation of customer orders
  • Creation and maintenance of purchase orders
  • Expediting of orders
  • Creation of delivery notes
  • Invoicing
  • Creation and maintenance of material masters in SAP
  • Crate estimation for air freight and exports
  • Maintenance of inventory
  • Direct liaison for customer inquiries as to the status of their order
  • Direct liaison with internal customers including sales, accounting, service and marketing
  • Any other duties as assigned

Minimum Education

  • College Diploma in Business Administration with a major in Production/Operations Management or 3 years experience in Logistics
  • Knowledge of MS Office
  • Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset

Require Travel?

Possibility for travel to the USA for training purposes

Previous Job Experiences
