Tyre Rubber Applications Engineer; Don't tyre yourself out!

A leading developer and manufacturer of various rubber and silicone based products is looking for an experienced tyre rubber applications engineer. The position will be based within the companies European headquarters just outside of Brussels, where the products which are produced and marketed are used in various difference industries worldwide.

This is a particularly interesting position, where the successful candidate will be involved with gaining new business and launching new products within the market. Their will also be some travelling involved, as going to meet with customers to discuss the products is an essential part of the job to ensure the product is being used to its full ability.

The ideal candidate will have to have extensive knowledge of a range of rubbers such as natural rubber, rubber seal and organic rubber and understand the process in developing the composite and chemistry of the product to ensure that it is being used correctly. They should also have experience in introducing new products to the market, while being fluent in both English and another continental language. Ideally, they should have an MSc in Materials Science or Chemistry.
