AWS Big Data Cloud Architect – Chicago, IL -$200k + Bonus + 401 (k) + Full medical + Fully Remote + more + no travel

My client is looking for an AWS SME to help them build their revolutionary platform in AWS Cloud. Their platform is used to store, organize, and analyze millions of data points for marketing and corporate use. This platform is used by some of the largest organizations in the country. They need someone with a solid background in traditional software engineering that also understands and can guide them into the AWS Cloud. This is a very high level position and this Architect will be making important decisions in choosing technologies to implement and use. 

Required Experience & Qualifications: (Combination of the Below)

• AWS Cloud experience - Redshift, Kinesis, Lambda
• Java or Python
• Cloud migration experience including data warehousing (Redshift/S3)
• Elasticsearch and Python experience 
• Understanding and ability to move legacy platform into AWS Cloud

Role & Responsibilities:

• Should be able to design complex and high performance architecture
• Participating and leading client engagement
• Identify the performance bottle-necks and resolve the same
• Participate in full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) of the Data & Analytics  Solution
