Duty & Assessment Social Worker (257262JTE) Blackpool, England

Our client in Blackpool is looking for an experienced social worker to join the Duty & Assessment team. The children's social worker will be required to assess risk and produce assessments of excellent quality.
As a Duty & Assessment Social Worker, your duties will include:
- Working with children on protection plans, looked after children and children in need
- Having extensive knowledge of relevant legislation
- Holding complex cases
- Liaising with other agencies
- Initial statements for court
- Attending court
- Providing children and family assessments
- Child protection meetings
- Section 47s
- Core assessments
- Working with PLO (Public Law Outline)
- Case conferences
- Attending LAC reviews
To apply for this position you must have:
- At least 2 years post-qualification experience (and 5 years of references)
- Social work degree or equivalent (MA/BA/BSc in Social Work, Diploma in Social Work or CQSW)
- Experience working in a Duty & Assessment team
- HCPC Registration
- DBS
- Full, clean driving licence
