In this role you will be heavily involved in:

• Helping to ensure demand is prioritised through the Demand and Insight Forum
• Proactively seeking to identify and communicate opportunities for analysis to address business functions’ challenges
• Developing and maintaining understanding of the type of analytical solutions, insights and visualisations different business functions benefit from
• Ensuring Tableau is operating at optimal performance
• Embedding working processes to ensure accurate, slick delivery of analytics and reporting solutions
• Collaborating with Technology teams who will be producing the production ready data models
• Delivering predictive analytics, visual charts, dashboards and support the Visualisation and analytics teams
• Collaborating within the Data Team and Technology where required
• Facilitating User Acceptance Testing
• Managing stakeholder expectations
• Leading and manage the visualisation and analytics team
• Working closely with business end-users
• Defining and communicating project milestones, service level agreements and resource requirements
• Creating & delivering training for end-users and resolve issues to enable the effective use of data visualisations across the organisation
• Creating and delivering documentation, including Business Requirements, Tableau design documents, etc.
• Providing technology support and advice to business and Technology colleagues regarding analytics & Tableau
• Using documentation as mentioned above to provide successful knowledge transfer to BAU teams who will be maintaining the dashboards

You will require:

• Experience leading and managing global teams, delivering predictive analytics solutions to create business benefit and actionable insight
• Proven experience in broader predictive data analytics and visualisation techniques, tools and platforms (e.g. SQL, R, MapR, dimensional modelling techniques)
• Knowledge of Tableau for data modelling, designing visualisations and developing dashboards
• Expertise of embedding automated analytics & visualisation solutions which drive significant business benefits
• Ability to engaging & influence stakeholders to gather requirements and inspire the use of data and analytics across the organisation
• Proven business partnering/ relationship management capability
• Great communication & presentation skills at all levels
• Able to build trust and ask appropriate/ challenging questions
• The ability to understand key business requirements and spot opportunities where appropriate
