Role Details

As part of the role you will be working in the following areas:

• Systems integration - Our web systems need to integrate with various 3rd party systems via RESTful APIs
• Maintaining and updating the company website & customer applications (front-end & back-end)
• Maintaining & updating internal systems
• Improving existing database systems

You will also be heavily involved in some our new projects:

• Creating a new reseller web application (React / Angular / Vue.js)

• Automating our internal reporting processes
• Integrating a new CMS system for managing content for the website

We believe in keeping our team at the top of their professional game. To facilitate this we provide training resources from PluralSight. We allocate time on Friday afternoons for developers to learn new skills & improve existing ones.

Skills Required

The candidate must be able to demonstrate skills & knowledge of the following:

• C# ASP.Net MVC / Web API 2
• Modern JS application frameworks (React / Vue.js / Angular 4)
• SQL
• Unit Testing
• Distributed Source Control (Git / Mercurial)

Additionally, we are very interested in candidates with skills in the following areas:

• ASP.Net Core
• Modern Auth Strategies
• Automated Testing
• Jenkins CI
• Experience working in an Agile team

Person Specification

• Capable of working independently & making architectural decisions
• Willing to share ideas & present them to the team
• Willing to work in a dynamic environment, where business needs are prioritised
• Can work well in a team and listen to other points of view.

• The ideal candidate will be someone who enjoys mentoring and assisting junior developers.
