You’ll work with stakeholders at all levels to understand their challenges and requirements, as well as interrogating the underlying data sources, to develop applications which provide end users with insight to support their day-to-day business decisions. The ability to interpret business requirements and explain technical solutions to non-technical audiences is essential.

The consultancy and application development lifecycle will encompass a range of skills including requirements gathering, data modelling, systems architecture design, UI/UX design, application development, project management and stakeholder engagement. Your technical and analytical expertise will nurture customers to drive adoption and repeat purchases.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS

• Deliver Qlik Consultancy and Development
• Drive all aspects of solution development, from requirements and design to development and deployment, in line with customer requirements.
• Design and develop performant data models through Qlik ETL scripting, making use of QVD files and incremental loading techniques.
• Develop user-friendly, intuitive and performant analytical dashboards. • Manage technical scope and client expectations.
• Document best practices in developing and deploying QlikView and Qlik Sense solutions, sharing internally for re-use by colleagues and customers.
• Provide 1st and 2nd line technical support
• Diagnose technical support issues, propose solutions and escalate with Qlik support where appropriate, maintaining regular communication with the customer.
• Demonstrate expert knowledge of the features, benefits and application of products in the Qlik platform.
• Provide hands-on support to customers and colleagues with technical queries.
• Play an active role in the sales process
• Establish a long-term relationship with customers, managing expectations and discovering new business possibilities with them.
• Provide technical support to the sales team.
• Assist in the elaboration of commercial proposals to customers by developing scope & effort estimates.
• Deliver proof of concept events and demonstrations to potential customers.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Essential

• Proven experience in QlikView or Qlik Sense server administration
• Proven experience in delivering NPrinting solutions
• 3+ years of QlikView or Qlik Sense consultancy experience
• 3+ years of relevant experience in a consulting environment
• Proven experience in QlikView or Qlik Sense server administration
• Proven experience in delivering NPrinting solutions
• Strong experience with relational databases and data modelling
• A solid understanding of business functions and processes
• Proven experience with UI/UX design
• Bachelor’s degree in a science/engineering discipline or equivalent experience
• Business level English
• Full UK Driving Licence

Desirable

• Qlik Sense or QlikView Certification
• Experience of BI tools and/or enterprise-type (ERP, CRM) applications
• Web Application Development Skills
• Programming expertise using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Certification in a project management methodology
