LEADING AIRLINE SUPPLIER SEEKS GLOBAL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE TO LOOK HELP BUILD THEIR BUSINESS

My Client is a major supplier of Duty-Free goods and food packages to airlines across the globe.
Based near Heathrow Airport , they are enjoying an extended period of success which has led to the creation of this new role.
Reporting to the Head of New Business Development, Strategy & Innovation, you will be responsible for approaching new clients, preparing tenders, and managing existing accounts.
Responsibilities will include, market research, identifying and pursuing new sales prospects, managing the tender process, building positive relationships with customers,
The role requires excellent organisation and communication skills, an outgoing personality, persistence with a focus on results, and a high level of emotional intelligence
YOU MUST HAVE:
.Experience of developing tenders
Proven experience and track record as a B2B Sales Executive or relevant role, airline experience desirable.
 Articulate with strong presentation skills
 Languages a preference but not essential
 Self-motivated and resourceful
 Comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile environment
 Entrepreneurial spirit, ambition, drive and business acumen
 Excellent knowledge of MS Office and Excel
 Thorough understanding of marketing and negotiating techniques
 Fast learner and passion for sales
 Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
 Aptitude in delivering attractive presentations
 Attention to detail, analytical and highly organised
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES ARE:
To manage the tender process internally, co-ordinating internal responses against tight deadlines ensuring compliance to all requirements within the tight deadlines set by the business.
 Conduct market research to identify opportunities for creating additional revenue with new and current customers, evaluate their needs and gaps in the market.
 Be fully cognisant with the customer proposition and prepare tailored presentations in order to entice and attract new customers.
 Set up an annual schedule of meetings with potential clients and listen to their wishes and concerns.
 Conduct quarterly reviews with your line manager covering pipeline and opportunities to farm new business.
 Conduct bi-annual competitor analysis to identify their estimated sales and margin by customer and develop strategies to target those clients coming up for re-tender.
