Based at a busy vehicle import centre in Southampton Docks, we are currently looking to recruit several Skilled Motor Mechanics / Skilled Vehicle Fitters to join our Automotive Workshop. This is on an on-going temporary contract with no end date with an immediate start, this could lead to a permanent position.
Hours of work: Between 40 - 60 hours per week, between 6am - 6pm, can include up to 12 hour shifts and occasional weekends. We may look at split shifts, morning shifts and afternoon shift.
Rate of pay: £12.68 per hour, paid on weekly basis, one week in arrears.
Duties; This role involves fitting accessories to brand new vehicles prior to being despatched to UK dealerships. Fitments include; DVDs, Roof Racks, Tow Bars, Tyres, Bodykits, Dog Cages but mainly front and rear sensors.
Essential to have an NVQ or equivalent.
It is essential that all applicants hold a valid drivers license with less than 6 penalty points and no DR offences.
