Our client (One of the important engineering players for energy, water and infrastructure projects) is looking for “Business Development Director”

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 15 years of experience and must have worked in Business Development, Sales or Project Management, ideally within a similar professional services or consultancy environment. Experience working with Infrastructure developing company and/or Engineering & Project Management Company would be highly regarded.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering (Civil, Electrical or Mechanical) from an accredited university, master’s degree a plus
  • and especially Thailand 4.0 and access to clients in the Infrastructure sector.
  • Capability to make customized presentations and lead discussions with clients.
  • Applying an understanding of construction/engineering project management principles to plan and deliver projects of varying complexity.
  • The ability to engage with multiple stakeholders and manage competing priorities
  • High level of English & Thai (spoken and written).
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (including customer presentations).
  • Flexible, good at planning concurrent assignments and good organizer, even in unexpected circumstances
  • Willing to travel for short term missions for project or training purposes
  • Openness to new technologies, digitalization and innovation

SPECIFIC BUSINESS UNDERSTANDING         

  • Exposure to the Infrastructure market in Thailand and Singapore, Myanmar, Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia.
  • Excellent understanding of the Infrastructure/ Transport/ Urban Planning markets

MISSIONS       

  • To deliver on the future growth strategy, we are looking for suitably skilled and experienced Business Development Director having experience in engineering to join our international team, the position is based at our office in Bangkok. We would like to hear from career-minded professionals at the mid-senior level of the career spectrum who can demonstrate the tenacity to succeed and be part of our success.
  • The candidate is expected to lead Business Development & Sales activities from our Bangkok office
  • Responsible for formulation and implementation of Marketing strategy, Business Development plan, Sales management as well as setting goals and achieving targets;
  • To seek for new business opportunities and create proper contracts/agreements for our business;
  • To conduct market research and analysis / feasibility studies in order to identify market requirements for current & future demands;
  • To support multiple concurrent projects across the entire life cycle, including pre-development, tendering and risk management.
  • To lead complex sales proposals by coordinating with other International offices /To participate in proposal preparation;
  • To develop & execute marketing and business plans;
  • To deal and find excellence solution for our business;
  • To develop and maintain client relationship;
  • To develop sales winning strategy for each prospect;
  • To monitor/ record competitors’ activities;
