Our client, world's largest construction company, is urgently looking for a “Planning Engineer” willing to work under the following conditions:
Terms & Condition:
Duration :3 - 6 Months
Location : Doha, Qatar
Start Date: ASAP
Status: Resident ( 5 days, 8 hours per day)
Purpose of Position:
- Establish the implementation of schedule and monitor the actual daily progress during the execution phase; maintain the project information
- Determine the project progress by updating the Master and Internal Programs weekly; analyze the actual performance versus target and make necessary actions when needed
- Administer the weekly look ahead schedule and weekly/monthly progress report
- Highlight the areas of concern and recommend corrective action to be taken to the concerned
- Develop the monthly presentation on the work sequence with the total project plan
- Identify the critical path activities; notify the Project Manager with on the areas of concern , uncompleted activities , delays & corrective measures
- Work with the Quantity Surveyor, Site Engineers and Draftsman for the monthly report preparation
- Keep track on Request for Instructions (RFIs) and change orders that causes project delay; ensure to have justification at the time of claim preparation
- Analyze subcontractors report for the work status, shop drawings and material submittal to avoid delays
- Administer the preparation of weekly progress dashboard in coordination with Project Manager
- Work with QA/QC for the site inspection for the work progress
- Be present at the weekly meeting with the consultant and project management
