Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Lead technical review of maintenance process and procedure changes to support plant-initiated change efforts.
  • Lead maintenance program execution support as assigned to provide a plant level focus.
  • Lead plant-wide maintenance improvement activities to provide a focal point and management continuity.
  • Manage administration of plant level activities in support of Maintenance Performance Improvement (NPI) to ensure reduction and avoidance of errors.
  • Coordinate training to ensure timely qualification and requalification of plant maintenance personnel.
  • Verify tasks are performed in a timely manner and with quality to achieve the highest level of safety and Prepare for World Association of Nuclear Operators (WANO), Institute of Nuclear Power Operations (INPO), and International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) pre-start up peer reviews to ensure alignment to industry best practices.

Maintenance Improvement (CENTRAL ONLY)
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Lead system-wide maintenance improvement activities to ensure consistent approaches to improvement.
  • Provide analysis and support to the Maintenance Corporate Functional Area Manager (CFAM) within the Central Governance organization to enable assessments and deep dive analysis.
  • Lead development of system-wide key performance indicators (KPIs) and performance documentation to provide management with trends and absolute performance information.

Staff Training and Qualification

  • Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
  • Develop management expectations and communicate with section to ensure high level of safety and reliability of plant systems.
  • Monitor and consult to improve staff performance.
  • Critically evaluate performance of individual staff to develop necessary training.
  • Verify that training programs provide necessary technical knowledge and skills to ensure staff are properly trained and qualified to conduct assigned responsibilities.
  • Provide training feedback on program effectiveness with evaluation of performance to ensure quality of training and qualification program.
