Our client is an exciting Sports Media company who are growing all the time.  

They are looking for a talented Enterprise System Administrator to join their fun and fast-paced team.

As an Enterprise System Administrator, you will be involved in maintaining, deploying, configuring and supporting the Enterprise infrastructure platforms globally. The key systems are Active Directory, Windows Server, Exchange, Office 365, Azure.

The company are currently midway through an exciting project: consolidating multiple Active Directory forests, 3 internal Exchange organisations, and hosted Google Apps platforms in to a new Azure-linked AD forest with a single Office 365 Enterprise tenant. 

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

Administration and advanced troubleshooting experience with Enterprise Technologies such as AD, Exchange, Windows Server roles & features

  • Awareness of best practices for securely administering the Enterprise Technology stack
  • PowerShell scripting
  • Understanding of email flow and all dependent technologies
  • Team player and a mentor to junior staff
  • Understanding of core networking and authentication technologies (DHCP, DNS, IPv4, RADIUS, PKI & Enterprise Certificate Authorities)
  • Ability to take ownership of aspects of project delivery, liaising with other team members and the Enterprise Architects as necessary
  • O365 migration and administration exposure
  • Citrix Administration and troubleshooting exposure
  • McAfee ePO administration
  • Administration and troubleshooting experience with the Microsoft System Center suite: SCCM (including application deployment & OS imaging), SCOM, SCVMM
  • Integration of MacOS and *nix with Active Directory

The ideal candidate will need to be enthusiastic, hands on, willing to learn and have good knowledge in Administration of Windows Server platforms, Server Hardware/Software, Systems automation and deployment. Other aspects of this role will include the candidate to liaise with 3rd party vendors, be conversant with ITIL framework as key to the role is resolving escalated issues from the Desktop Team, raising new Changes, attending CAB and participating in new projects/improvements for Enterprise Systems and completing these tasks allocated within a given timeframe.
