This Top Tier Investment Bank is looking for a Trading Control Analyst to be responsible for minimising risk at all times, identifying and resolving erroneous trading positions, capturing unmatched trades and performing the reconciliation of risk books
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Presenting a comprehensive understanding of the trade flows across the business lines and asset classes through interaction with trading, sales, operations and technology.
• Involved in a range of system architecture changes as we evolve our infrastructure to deal with the changing business environment
• Providing the control and risk framework for our international execution businesses.
• Challenging the status quo and using your inquisitive mind set to identify risks and improve the efficiency of processes.
• Use soft skills to manage relationships across the firm when approaching daily work.
The successful candidate is likely to have:
• Experience in a middle office or reconciliation environment.
• Quantitative educational background.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with some experience in financial services.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
