Volt is now hiring for a machine mechanic on 2nd and 3rd shift in Fargo, ND to work with a great Company long-term
Job Title: Machine Mechanic
Shift/Days: M-F 2nd and 3rd available
Duration: 90 days temp to permanent
Pay: Starting at $18-20.
Qualifications: Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
- Basic mechanic background a plus
- Competent at basic dimensional measuring and math; as well as the ability to quickly learn the use of precision measurement tools
- Basic ability to read and understand blueprints and other shop drawing aids a plus
- Ability to work with various types of metal forming constraints with guidance
- Ability to work independently and with a team
Job Description: Essential Job Functions:
- Must be able to work overtime as required
- Preventative maintenance on assembly equipment
- Maintain records on work order
- Work effectively in a team environment
- Communicate in a timely manner to purchase parts
