As a Supervising Attorney for Farmers Insurance, you will be responsible for:
o Supervising assigned attorneys and support staff including training, special assignments, and reporting.
o The competent, ethical, and diligent representation of clients in all assigned cases, including claims of the highest complexity level and/or exposure.
o Providing assistance to the Managing Attorney in the supervision of other attorneys in the office and in the performance of other delegated assignments.
o File handling from inception through trial including making case assignments to Branch Legal Office attorneys and to outside counsel, and consulting with and rendering opinions to the claims departments regarding insurance policy questions.

Our Ideal Candidate will possess the following:
o A JD and membership in good standing with the California State Bar.
o A history as an accomplished trial lawyer with a proven track record of successful jury trials and significant civil litigation experience preferably in insurance defense.
o Proven success managing a law firm with heavy litigation.
o The ability to handle cases of moderate to great exposure and/or complexity with minimum supervision.
o Technological savvy with the desire to work with new devices and computer programs.
