POSITION:
Produces well-structured, documented and maintainable test cases and/or scripts and identifies associated expected results for manual and automated testing.
Responsible for maintenance of the test cases and scripts. Test cases need to support validation of business requirements and/or any design specific functionality.
Test case creation will include but is not limited to positive and negative testing scenarios as well as security and/or access testing
Test cases need to include identification of data needed to execute the test cases.
Executes test cases and/or scripts and documents actual results in accordance with defined test plans and procedures.
Retrieves data needed or creates data if so defined.
Test execution to include but not limited to:
o Functional
o Integration
o Performance
o Regression
o Test execution includes retesting of defects resolved.
Creates clear and complete documented defect reports for anomalies found during test procedures and refers to appropriate development resource for correction.
Produces clear concise documentation of the results of execution of test cases in conjunction with the execution of test phases during product qualification.

REQUIRED:
2+ years of web based testing experience
Experience with testing reusable components is critical
Experience with HP (Mercury) test tools (QTP, Quality Center, Loadrunner)
Familiar with 3 tiered web-based architecture
Knowledgeable of Java, HTTP, XML, Unix, and C+
Excellent problem solving skills
Proven ability in meeting project timelines
Experience creating automated test scripts - specifically creating automated test scripts using QTP. Good interpersonal, organizational, oral and written English communication, presentation and reporting skills.  Bachelor's Degree

PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED:
Familiarity with Structured Design Methodologies
Degree in Computer Science or Technology
