The CB Data Analyst is responsible for measuring and assessing customer behavior patterns, product and operational trends and supporting the local business operations staff with local in depth analysis. The CB data analysis teams will be responsible for coordinating local market analysis from systems such as ICOMS and OPTIX and all future CB BSS / OSS with Center led teams. The key position for CB growth serves as the local analytical and reporting support for the CB VP and CB Business Operations team in the market.
The ideal candidate is a top performer, self-starter, who brings high levels of energy and enthusiasm, is comfortable with ambiguity and works well with diverse teams and has a demonstrated ability to think analytically. In addition the ideal candidate must be able to provide consulting expertise to corporate and field personnel. This is a center remote role.
Collaborates with staff, management teams, and other departments to understand complex functional situations, methods and procedures to develop and maintain broad knowledge of the technical disciplines in various functional areas of the business.
Uses in-depth subject matter and functional expertise to influence and help client groups, customers and stakeholders identify high priorities and change business requirements and focus as needed.
Oversees the preparation and design of various reports, data downloads, research and special projects
Reviews and analyzes data and metrics to assess best practices and effectiveness of processes and procedures and makes recommendations for improvements
Conducts local quality assurance reviews of data for accuracy and completeness and assists and directs troubleshooting for data integrity if required
Participates in the development of annual sales and operating budgets and re-forecasts as a key contributor in the areas of sales operations, customer and market trends and overall market and opportunity analysis.
Trains local users on CB datasets and tools.
Responsible for local reporting catalog maintenance and standardization
Serves as local data steward and first line of governance for reporting and analysis
Supports local market CB VP with operational data gathering and trend analysis

Analyst I: May provide analyses focused on one specific region or market; may leverage tools, methodology, and processes created by others. May require guidance from others to provide context and interpretation around results of analyses.
Analyst II: Recognized as a subject matter expert on at least one area of the business. Analyses are broader and look at multiple regions or the company from an enterprise perspective. Requires ability to interpret data results and make appropriate business recommendations.
Analyst III: Recognized subject matter expert on multiple areas of the business. Analyses are typically highly complex and have the largest impact on the company as a whole. May provide guidance to lower level analysts on data analysis, sourcing, and interpretation of results.
Analyst IV: Role is highly analytical with broad business understanding and very technical skills. Viewed as subject matter expert that can provide guidance and consultation on nearly all aspects of the business. Oversees large-scale projects to completion. Provides guidance to lower level analysts on data analysis, sourcing, and interpretation of results.
Sr. Manager of Commercial Data Analysis
Analyst I: Prefer 1+ years of experience required in related field (Finance, Accounting, Business)
Analyst II: 3+ years of experience required in related field (Finance, Accounting, Business).
Analyst III: 5+ years of experience required in related field (Finance, Accounting, Business); 3+ years of experience required if candidate possesses a related advanced degree (MS/MBA or above)
Analyst IV: 8+ years of experience required in related field (Finance, Accounting, Business); 5+ years of experience required if candidate possesses a related advanced degree (MS/MBA or above)
Strong knowledge of Excel and database reporting and analysis platforms
Excellent collaborative and interpersonal skills to work effectively with teams
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Fast learner with ability to work in a remote led organization
BS/BA degree in related discipline desired (Finance, Mathematics, Business, MIS)
Graduate degree in related discipline preferred (Accounting, Finance, Business)
Experience in telecommunications industry
