Email Marketing Manager (9907296) Los Angeles, California

This is your opportunity to take ownership of a newly added CRM role and build a best-in-class email marketing program for a retailer sending 150 million + emails per year! You will help us put the customer first, presenting the right offer and the right content at the right time. While the email function has rested primarily with our E-commerce department until now, we're pursuing new brands and new channels of growth, and adding to our CRM function by seeking a strategist with the talent to develop omni-channel campaigns to drive and increase sales. This is a ground-floor opportunity where you can make a direct impact, but, because this is a new role, you'll also focus on the day-to-day tactical responsibilities along with the strategic vision.

To be a strong fit for the Email Program Manager role, you should have:
  • Five to eight years of email/direct marketing experience, including at least two years of experience developing and managing email marketing programs.
  • A bachelor's degree preferably in Marketing, Advertising or a related focus. A master's degree is preferred.
  • Deep understanding of email marketing operations, technology, and campaign platforms (e.g. Unica, Oracle, SAS, eDialog, Epsilon, Responsys).
  • Demonstrated knowledge of customer segmentation and testing techniques, with a track record of successful strategic application.
  • Experience creating and implementing omni-channel campaigns is preferred.
  • Experience working in the retail, hospitality, grocery or similar industry requiring high-volume, direct marketing.
