We are currently seeking a Secret cleared VTC/ ipTV Engineer for our client in Bethesda, Maryland. This is a temporary to permanent opportunity that absolutely requires candidates to possess an active Secret clearance at the barest minimum. The Secret cleared VTC/ipTV Engineer will be responsible for performing tasks in a structured team environment.

Job Description:
Demonstrated experience of VTC systems. Demonstrated experience and ability to implement and operate various types of fully integrated computer-based VTC systems with minimal oversight.
Ability to operate all system components to include mainframe, mini, and microcomputer hardware, software, and mass storage devices.
Experience with ipTV, preferably vBrick technology.
Ability to effectively communicate with Executives as well as systems users both verbally and in writing.

Required Skills:
Experience in operation and configuration of VTC systems, in particular, Polycom and Cisco (formerly Tandberg) systems.
Experience and ability to implement and operate various types of fully integrated computer-based VTC systems with minimal oversight.
Demonstrated experience and ability to test and operate all phases of the system life cycle.
Ability to operate all system components to include mainframe, mini, and microcomputer hardware, software, and mass storage devices.
Ability to effectively communicate with Executives as well as systems users both verbally and in writing.
Experience with Audio/Visual systems and presentations
Working knowledge of AMX and Crestron control systems
Excellent Customer Service skills
Secret Clearance required

Preferred Skills:
Experience in ipTV technology, vBrick preferred, other experience is a plus.
Experience in Polycom CMA desktop and Cisco Movi
Experience with Polycom and Cisco (formerly Tandberg) bridges.
Strong PC skills.
Security + (necessary within 6 months of start)
Knowledge of MS PowerPoint.
Familiarity with GWI ticketing system (or other Help Desk trouble ticketing system)

Position Goals/Duties:
Ideal candidate will be responsible for the ipTV (vBrick) infrastructure within the hospital.
assist with A/V prep.
video teleconference scheduling/setup.
troubleshooting A/V and VTC equipment.
Experience managing ticket queues
