The Position:

Castle Employment are looking for an Onsite Food & Beverage Supervisor for an award-winning leisure company in the Pickering Area. Working as a Food & Beverage Supervisor for Castle Employment Agency you will be responsible in assisting Castle on the successful delivery of the account. You will be the point of contact for Castle on site, be their first point of call with any issues that may arise on site and to improve communication on both sides. As the Food & Beverage Supervisor you will be responsible for representing Castle and therefore you will always be expected to be smart and in uniform. You will be able to handle a variety of situations and should you have any circumstances that you are not comfortable with inform Castle immediately. The Shift will be 11am – 9pm 

Requirements:

  • Responsible for the Check in of all candidates booked at the designated meeting points
  • To liaise with client management in the morning to check on changing to numbers
  • Record accurately - No Shows and Sickness and Co-ordinate Extra Staff booked, then update Castle & client with changes
  • Ensuring that all candidates are in the correct uniform i.e Black Shirt, Black Trousers, and Black shoes. Shoes and trousers are critical without Black shoes or trousers they are not to get on the bus. Shirts can be provided from the locker or Castle office
  • Responsible for providing a weekly stock check of all black shirts on site that is kept within the on site locker. Instructing Castle when stock is low.
  • Responsible for giving out uniforms from the locker and asking the candidates to sign the sheet when they take any uniform
  • Help in morning meetings and assist new starters to allocated working departments
  • Using the Google LIVE spreadsheet responsible for coordinating finishing time, booking of required transport and ensuring the transport back is full with the correct candidates on the bus
  • Using the LIVE spreadsheet through the Google account that the client uses to check candidates shifts & deal with any candidate queries
  • Should the Client have any concerns over a candidate’s performance you will deal with this using the agreed Disciplinary Procedure and ensure the candidate is supported
  • To work in core busy times in outlets confirmed by as part of the hospitality team, then work 2 hours floating: Dealing with candidate queries, updating with Castle & Supervisors on site, filling shifts for following week and continuously improving communication on both sides
  • To keep in regular contact with your Castle contact daily when you are on shift.
