We have Full-Time Permanent Front of House positions available, around 30 hours a week, great pay rate of £8.60 Monday to Friday with an increase if you work a weekend. Free transport is also provided from Scarborough and Whitby
THE POSITION:
Castle Hospitality division has an exciting opportunity and is recruiting for a Catering Assistant for a local well-known Mining Company within the North East. Free transport is provided for all staff from set pick up points in Scarborough and Whitby
Our client is looking for enthusiastic individuals to join their Front of House team who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, working as part of a lively busy team. This role will include some weekend working. The service operates a two-shift system; you will be required to work 5 days over 7, 6.30am to 3:30 pm covering breakfast and lunch, and 8.30am to 5 pm covering lunch and supper. We have both full-time and temporary flexible contracts available. Weekend permanent positions available to fit into your personal circumstances.
You will undertake foodservice and cleaning duties for the provision of breakfast, lunch and supper, taking ownership for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, service standards and the smooth running of food service in your area of work. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills in assisting, as required, on functions at the venue.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous Front of House experience
- Good communication skills
- Team player
- Highly organised
- An excellent understanding of hygiene and commitment to a clean working environment
- Cash Handling experience
- Till experience
- Cooking experience would be advantageous but not essential
