THE POSITION:
Castle Hospitality division have an exciting opportunity, recruiting for a Front of House Supervisor for a local unique hospitality client based on the beautiful outskirts of York, North Yorkshire area. This fantastic opportunity could be a Live-in position if require but not essential.
Our client is looking for enthusiastic individuals to join their catering team who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, working as part of a lively busy team. This role will include weekend working. The service operates a two-shift system; you will be required to work weekends, 7:00am to 3:30pm covering breakfast and lunch, and 12:15pm to 8:45pm covering lunch and supper.
You will undertake food service and clearing duties for the provision of breakfast, lunch and supper, taking ownership for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, service standards and the smooth running of food service in your area of work. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills in assisting, as required, on functions at the venue. This will be a position which will involve all aspects of man management, motivating staff, stock replenishment and money management.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous culinary experience
- Good communication skills
- Team player
- Previous Supervisor Experience
- Highly organised
- An excellent understanding of hygiene and commitment to a clean working environment
- Knowledge / experience of health and safety legislation
