We are recruiting for a Receptionist based in Scarborough area, North Yorkshire area on a temporary to permanent full-time contract. The successful applicant will be providing outstanding levels of customer service to all guests whilst ensuring that all Company rules and procedures are strictly adhered to in admission of customers.  £8.50per hour.  This position is full-time hours working in a rota 5 days over 7, including some weekend.  The hours vary from 8.00am – 6.00pm, 6.00pm - 4.30am and 8.30pm - 6.30am working 38hours a week.

Responsibilities:

To provide an outstanding level of customer service to all guests whilst ensuring that all Company rules and procedures are strictly adhered to in relation to the admission of customers.

You will be required to work 5 days over 7 including weekends.

  • Meet and greet new and existing customers while in the reception area ensuring that we abide by all aspects of the Gambling Act 2005 and all relevant company policies
  • Meet and greet customers, show them to their destination, e.g. corporate/private events.
  • Ensure that all customers are dealt with in an efficient and courteous manner
  • Activity look for opportunities to engage with our customers, by explaining the benefits of the Reward scheme and assisting customers to sign up followed by a demonstration of the scheme journey, and handover to other members of the team
  • Receiving and logging telephone calls and other communications
  • Some inputting/office duties as and when required

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Courteous and friendly outlook
  • Good grooming and presentable dress
  • Front of house/reception experience in previous roles
  • Team player
  • Flexible attitude
  • Pro-active approach, able to work autonomously
  • Able to communicate on all levels including senior management
  • Good IT skills in normal Microsoft applications (Word, Excel,)
  • Positive and upbeat attitude
