Seamer & Irton School are looking for a responsible, reliable person to play an important role in ensuring the safety of children crossing the road on the way to and from school.
Location: Pasture Lane, Seamer
Duty times: 0825-0900 and 1520-1550 (5hrs 25mins per week)
The role involves standing and walking outdoors in all weathers. You should have a good understanding of road use and traffic awareness, be punctual and enjoy working with the public.
You will also have the communication skills to deal with young people and drivers clearly and effectively.
No previous experience necessary as training is given, and full uniform will be provided.
This post involves access to vulnerable service users and if you were offered the position, you will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS Disclosure background check.
