After a successful first year supplying Schools, Colleges & Universities locally, Castle Education are now looking to recruit a consultant to join a very established team handling a variety of positions across the education sector. This specialist desk recruits for all levels of teachers, teaching assistants, head of departments, lecturers and support workers across North Yorkshire.

Castle have been established for 50 years and in the last 3 years have experienced rapid growth doubling in head count and revenue. This growth is in line with our ambitious plans in a very boyant market to compliment and work alongside the current very talented consultant creating a dedicated team.

The role will work within a larger team, you will work amongst the leading recruitment consultants in the area – the average length of service at Castle is 8 years and the team have over 100 years’ experience between them. Everything we do at Castle is focused around our main value which is TEAM WORK, as much as we are a sales KPI led environment, we work together to deliver the goal and always support one another along the way.

The role is very fast paced and involves lots of multi-tasking and prioritising, you are expected to work on your own initiative and plan your work in line with your client and candidate demands. Speed is often really key but having the ability to work with very good attention to detail is paramount.  

Key areas of the role will involve:

• Account manage your current and existing client base
• Establish new clients and use various sales techniques to win the business
• Meet and interview candidates
• Be creative on ways to attract candidates through social media methods

Essential Skills for the Recruitment Consultant are:

• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Work at pace and be able to work under pressure
• Very organised and work methodically
• Be able to use social networking media to increase candidate attraction and client interaction
• Have the ability to work outside of core hours when required
• Clean driving licence

You will be paid a very competitive salary and be rewarded through a bonus scheme based on performance. OTE in year one would expect to be 25K – 30K. Hours are 7.30 - 3.30pm or 8am - 4pm

We are a flexible working employer and should you have 4 years + experience in Education recruitment we would consider flexible working from home 2 days a week if you live over 40 miles from Scarborough.
