Mechanical Fitter

Responsibilities for Mechanical Fitter:

▪ Accurately build new machinery from engineering drawings & general assembly drawings.

▪ General fitting work.

▪ Cutting metal to size.

▪ Drilling & Tapping with sub assembly work.

▪ Work to close tolerances.

▪ Able to hand scrape alignments,

▪ Fork truck license (desirable but not essential).
 

This Mechanical Fitter position requires a well-motivated, ‘hands on’ skilled individual who can demonstrate the following attributes;

▪ Strong team player and able to work on own initiative 

▪ Able to multi task and prioritise own work load 

▪ Adhere to Company Health and Safety policies 

▪ Good communication skills
