Laser Operator - £28,000 - £30,000 - x 12 hour rotating shift - Dudley area - Laser Operator

Laser Operator main duties and responsibilities

* To ensure the laser if running to its optimum at all times, ensuring maximum output whilst keeping a high standard of quality.

* To keep the production area clean, safe and tidy at all times.

* Achieving the agreed despatch date  production requirements.

* Ensure that the correct quantity and quality of parts are supplied.

* As required, with the auditors, conduct the first off, mid and last off inspections and ensure all scrap procedures are followed.

* Detailing shop floor materials and stock levels both for full size sheets and off-cut remnants.

* Ensure that proper inspections are done as required.

* Approach the team leader with any immediate concerns or suggestions for departmental improvement.

* Understand and adhere to Quality Management System.

Laser Operator requirements

** Bystronic laser background is essential**

* Setting and operating high specification laser cutting machine

* Excellent Communcation skills

* Able to work overtime as tasks will be based on business conditions and requirements
