CNC Machinist - Aston - £13.50ph - Programmer/Setter/Operator - Miller/Turner x2 

JOB DESCRIPTION:             CNC Machinist - Programmer /Setter/Operator - Turner or Miller

HOURS OF WORK:             40 hours per week

JOB OVERVIEW for CNC Machinist:

• To write and prove out programs.  
• To plan and implement the methodology of producing the relevant components             
• To set and operate machines, when no programming is required
• For the successful candidate this may lead to the position of section leader

CNC Machinist:

• Must come from a Programming/setting/operating Mazak background(Mazatrol) controllers (Fusion 640T, Matrix, Smart, T Plus etc)
• A general knowledge of tooling requirements, including speeds/feeds etc.
• Must be able to work on own initiative and within a team environment

DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE:  

• CMM experience

OTHER QUALITIES

• Must be able to work on own initiative and within a team environment
• Good timekeeper
• Good communication skills

SALARY & BENEFITS:

• £12.50 p/h rising to £13.50 p/h for successful applicant after agreed probation period
• Quarterly bonus
