Proftech Talent are looking for a Mechanical Fitter to join an ever growing team in the Tipton Area. The ideal candidate for the Mechanical Fitter position will be a highly driven and motivated candidate with a good attitude to flexible working hours.
The duties required for the Mechanical fitter are:
Job description / core competencies:
- Continuous miner gearboxes: strip, assess & assemble.
- Industrial gearboxes: strip, assess & assemble.
- On-site work with field maintenance when needed.
- Follow up of parts and spares when needed.
- Receive parts from stores.
- Ensure that all quality requirements are adhered to during repairs and fitment of gearboxes.
- Good housekeeping.
- Adhere to company Health and Safety Standards and Procedures.
- Adhere to all company policies.
- Flexibility on working hours when required
