Product Engineer - Permanent position - £30,000 - £35,000 - Telford - New Product Improvement skills are essential

Proftech Talent are looking for a Product Engineer with strong Project Management skills, to join an expanding team in the Telford area.

The successful Product Engineer skills will include:

- Knowledge of different manufacturing processes would be required and would ideally include one of the following:

Plastic moulding, pressing, casting, machining

- Have an understanding of process capability and statistical controls 

- Work closely with department buyers to provide technical support cost saving projects

- Be able to work without supervision and to strict deadlines

The Product Engineer will hold a relevant engineering qualification, be highly motivated and Tenacious.

Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) and have the confidence to communicate at all levels both with internal and external suppliers

The ideal candidate for the Product Engineers role must also:

- Be able to compile project plans, expenditure justifications and detailed technical reports and be a flexible, enthusiastic team player
