Electrical Design Engineer - Monday to Friday Days - £35,000 - £40,000 dependant on experience
Proftech Talent are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to join an ever expanding team in the Walsall area. Fantastic company to work for, salary increase incentives for great performance.
The Electrical Design Engineer responsibilities include:
- To understand and apply relevant design, regulatory and industrial standards
- Operate in accordance to ISO 9001
- Preparation and ongoing management of Billing of materials
- Working closely with procurement and manufacturing to ensure needs are understood
- Work within the new product introduction process and participating in design reviews, new projects and customer meetings
- Preparation and ongoing management of manufacturing documentation and technical files
- Provide technical support to other departments
The ideal Electrical Design Engineer will have:
- HNC/ONC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent industrial experience
- Ability to multi-task, plan accurately, follow plan to delivery on time against deadlines
- Exceptional communication skills
- Come from a Design for Manufacture background
Desirable skills for Electrical Design Engineer:
- Experience of Control Panels design
- Ability to program PLC's, for automated design
- Preferred experience in AutoCad, E-plan, Corel draw and/or Pro-E
