MOTION PICTURE GROUP FINANCIAL REPORTING
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Preparation of the cash journal entries, working closely with the Treasury Department.
- Preparation and consolidation of the monthly and quarterly cash reconciliation, coordinating with operating divisions and markets to research cash/bank activities.
- Consolidation and preparation of quarterly supporting schedules in accordance with GAAP to be used for SEC reporting purposes by 21CF (parent company).
- Work closely with multiple operating divisions and markets to obtain information and ensure appropriate reporting and variance explanations.
- Assist in the analytical review of consolidated balance sheet.
- Development of process enhancements to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Perform or assist in preparation of other ad hoc projects as necessary, including government or tax requests, internal audit requests, external audit requests, and parent company requests.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or Economics
- 0-2 years of public or private industry experience.
- Possess strong communication, analytical and problem solving skills.
- Must be a team player, detail oriented, a self-starter and able to work independently.
- Strong knowledge of excel.
- PeopleSoft Financials experience helpful
- Entertainment and/or financial reporting experience a plus
