Department Focus:
Sales/Retention Operations enhances the performance of Cox Central Region Residential Sales & Retention by providing:
>Timely and relevant information & analysis
> Establishment of accurate channel goals
> Predictive modeling for enhanced decision making and control
> Other sales & retention performance metric development and measurement

These functions will be served through IT/operations, reporting, sales analysis, modeling, analytics, and compensation strategy.

Sales/Retention Compensation Analyst Areas of Responsibility:

Our Sales/Retention Compensation Analyst will work as a key member of the Sales/Retention Operations team and with other Cox partners to drive Cox Central Region success through:
> Accurate and timely sales & retention analysis and recommendations
> Efficient data mining/querying and reporting
> Sales & retention performance reporting
> Effective goal setting
> Other duties as assigned

Cox Job Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required. Typically requires BS/BA in related analytical discipline such as business, finance, marketing, or economics. Proven analyst with experience forecasting and providing actuals in a timely and accurate manner critical.
Technical competency in data management, databases, analysis, modeling, and data mining required. Strong MS Excel skills a must. MS Access or SQL skills required. Solid presentation, leadership, and communication skills necessary. Good project management skills necessary. The incumbent will successfully create, prioritize, and effectively execute goals for maximum impact on department contribution. Builds strong, positive relationships across the organization. MS Reporting Services, SQL Server experience preferred. Work history in the Telecom industry and/or sales preferred.
