Summary

Improves business processes and supports critical business strategies by supporting development, implementation, and maintenance of product and service oriented business application systems.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities


 Collaborates with other Business Application team members as well as finance/delivery/sales resources to review, analyze and improve business processes and information flows; contributes system knowledge and expertise to help identify potential approaches to meet various levels of business objectives.

 Manages process and system adaptation for evolving business requirements, including business reorganizations and corporate acquisitions.

 Comprehends business impact of supported enterprise systems and effects of changes to those systems; understands systematic functionality of supported business applications.

 Develops and maintains high level of technical knowledge for supported enterprise applications and underlying technologies, including functional knowledge of database structures and access to data model via SQL Server utilities.

 Shares ownership of enterprise applications including life cycle system maintenance and evolution: user support, training, issue tracking/analysis/resolution, report writing and system upgrades.

 Documents business application related processes/procedures using various tools including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Visio.

 Demonstrates and actively promotes an understanding and commitment to the mission of Logicalis through performing behaviors consistent with the organization's values.

 Maintains a working knowledge of applicable Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations as well as policies and procedures of Logicalis in order to ensure adherence in a manner that reflects honest, ethical and professional behaviors.

 Supports and conducts self in a manner consistent with customer service expectations.

Education and/or Experience

Education:

 Bachelor’s Degree in business, accounting, computer science or related field.

Experience:

 5 years experience in designing, installing and integrating information systems products.

 Experience with business process and systems analysis, financial systems or accounting, and knowledge of professional services business.

 Experience with enterprise application systems implementations, integration, and support.

May consider an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Computer Skills

 Changepoint PSA, Microsoft Dynamics GP or similar systems.

 MS SQL

 MS SharePoint

 Proficient use of all Microsoft Office applications.

Other Skills and Abilities

 Ability to multi-task between concurrent assignments, prioritize effectively, and work in fast paced organization with ever changing priorities.

 Ability to stay organized and document issues, actions, and procedures.

 Ability to work a flexible schedule as required; occasional travel may be required.

 Excellent organizational and project management skills, including ability to organize time and work on multiple tasks and follow-through to completion of task or project.

 Strong analytical and problem solving skills and experience applying these skills to improve processes and technology.
