Solutions Architect (2423) Lansing, Michigan

Plays key role in designing strategy, go-to-market plan, messaging (internal and external), pricing and service portfolio for Logicalis IT Service Management (ITSM) practice. Works with Practice Director to architect Logicalis ITSM solutions and evaluates how best to deliver services to clients. Works with sales, customers, partners and other Solution Architects as subject matter expert to help drive growth within practice.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develops and owns Logicalis ITSM strategy, including Helpdesk, ITSM toolset and ITSM assessments.
  • Develops go-to-market strategy and message for external and internal customers.
  • Evaluates new ITSM offerings and partnerships and establishes best way to support and deliver offerings.
  • Assists in developing service offerings associated with Logicalis ITSM practice.
  • Develops TCO models to help customer justify spend in ITSM space.
  • Works with Logicalis delivery team to ensure seamless integration and delivery of ITSM services offering.
  • Works with Account Executives in pursuit of Logicalis ITSM opportunities.
  • Researches ITSM trends and determines how Logicalis integrates and leverages existing capabilities with market direction.
  • Grows and maintains Logicalis' body of knowledge in subject area.
  • Participates in customer pre-sales calls around Assessments, ITSM toolset and Helpdesk.
  • Demonstrates and actively promotes an understanding and commitment to the mission of Logicalis through performing behaviors consistent with the organization's values.
  • Maintains a working knowledge of applicable Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations as well as policies and procedures of Logicalis in order to ensure adherence in a manner that reflects honest, ethical and professional behaviors.
  • Supports and conducts self in a manner consistent with customer service expectations.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
Experience:

  • 5 years experience working with HP, BMC, Tivoli, Service-Now and CA’s ITSM technologies; designing and articulating value of ITSM strategy; must be knowledgeable with Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and IT Service Management (ITSM). Ideal candidate will also have experience designing and selling Service and Helpdesk solutions.
